optical signals at the calibrated wavelengths of 1310/1550nm,and the attenuation
setting is indicated on a large liquidcrystal display,the attenuation level is
maintained when the power is turned on or off. The attenuator is a
compact, portable instrument for field system testing as well as in laboratory
applications.
